Simple gestures from the fishing tradition give our products the taste of the island—a true lifestyle. Conserveria Tonnina tells the story of the traditional processing of tuna on Elba Island.

The name comes from the ancient method of preserving part of the tuna, which was salted and stored in the old Elban tuna fisheries to maintain its flavor over time. Our shop overlooks the historic Portoferraio quay, right in front of the fishermen’s boats, where we prepare and preserve the authentic taste of the Elban tradition, faithfully following the methods, customs, and recipes of local seafaring.
