The hamlet of Fetovaia, located a few kilometers from Seccheto and Cavoli—villages that make up what is now called the “Costa del Sole” (Sun Coast)—has a relatively recent history.
The area had no dwellings until the late 19th century, when the growing use of granite and the cultivation of vineyards led to the gradual settlement of a few families.

Without any carriage roads until the mid-1900s, Fetovaia developed slowly until the arrival of tourism. Its beautiful granite beach and crystal-clear sea, along with its high-quality hotels, have made it today one of the most popular destinations for both national and international tourism.
